This Healthier Ranch Salad Dressing made with plain yogurt and dried herbs is a healthy and inexpensive alternative to the store bought preservative loaded brands. And you can through it together in less then 5 minutes.
The yogurt base makes this protein rich with probiotics and no refined sugar. By using dried herbs and spices this will keep in the refrigerator for a week to ten days. Note: You can make this into a dip for vegetables or chicken strips/nuggets by first draining the yogurt for 2 hours before adding the rest of the ingredients. Simple line a fine sieve strainer with tow layers of cheese cloth. Place this over a bowl, add the yogurt to the cheesecloth lines strainer and allow the whey to drip out of the yogurt into the bowl. Don’t throw away the whey use it in your next smoothie.
